The USFSA (US Figure Skating Association)has decided on its teams for the 2008 international competitions. Kimmie Meissner does indeed get to compete at Worlds, along with the Bronze medalist from Nationals (the only medalist to be old enough to qualify) and a third woman. The gold- and silver- medalists from worlds (the little babies) will be competing at Junior Worlds. I had forgotten that rule. I don't remember how it's written exactly, but there's something about you can still compete at the (lower) junior level if you medal at nationals but are still within the age range for junior division....or something.
Go Kimmie!
