I'm messing around with templates and colors....Please let me know what you like and what you don't. In general, I really liked my old template, but it always bugged me that there were those huge, hot-pink stripes on the sides.
I'd love to have something interesting and creative, that doesn't look like the general Blogger templates.....thoughts?

I like the grey and red. It's easier for me to read, but my vision is a little blurry these days in general, and I'm no artist (I just write about one) so I'm not the best judge.
And, as you know, I loathe pink...
I like the graphic at the top but the text is not really readable on top of it. A common problem with Blogger. I don't have alternatives to their templates. In general, I kept futzing around until I got a chorus of voices who said "Oh, MUCH better" and I stopped there.
Thanks for the input. I can't figure out how to make the text more legible, each color is worse than the last, it seems. I really like the graphic, though, so I'll keep trying to make it work.
